Lose your ability to lose things
AirTag is a very easy way to track your things. Attach one to the keys, add another to the backpack. And just like that, they're on your radar in the Find My app, where you can also track your Apple devices and keep up with friends and family.

Misplacing your wallet should no longer be a problem when it has an AirTag device attached. You can play a sound on the built-in speaker by accessing the new Items tab in the "Find My" app or by saying "Hey Siri, find my wallet". If he's hiding nearby - like under the sofa or in the next room - follow the sound and your search is over.
If your AirTag is nearby, your iPhone can lead you directly to it with Precision Finding. You will see the distance to the AirTag and the direction you are heading - all thanks to Ultra Wideband technology.
Precision finding is compatible with: iPhone 11 / iPhone 11 Pro / iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 mini / iPhone 12 Pro / iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Find your lost item with a little help from hundreds of millions of friends.
When you've lost something in a more distant location, such as on the beach or at the gym, the "Find My" network - hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad and Mac devices around the world - will help you find your AirTag . And it's designed to protect your privacy every step of the way.
How does it work?
Your AirTag sends a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the "Find My" network. These devices send the AirTag location to iCloud - then you can access the "Find My" application and see it on the map. The entire process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. And it's efficient, so there's no need to worry about battery life or data usage.

The "Lost" mode makes finding things even easier
Like other Apple devices, AirTag can be put into Lost mode. Then, when it is detected by a device on the network, you will automatically receive a notification. You can also set it so that someone can get your contact information by touching the AirTag with an NFC-enabled smartphone — the same technology that allows people to pay for things with their phones.
Privacy is built in.
Only you can see where your AirTag is. The data and history of your locations are never stored on AirTag. Devices transmitting your AirTag's location also remain anonymous, and location data is encrypted at every step. So not even Apple knows the location of your AirTag or the identity of the device that will help you find it.
AirTag is designed to deter unwanted tracking.
If someone else's AirTag finds its way into your stuff, your iPhone will notice that it's traveling with you and send you an alert. After a while, if you still haven't found it, the AirTag will start playing a sound to let you know it's there.
Of course, if you happen to be with a friend who has an AirTag or on a train with a bunch of people with AirTags, don't worry. These alerts are triggered only when an AirTag is separated from its owner.

Simple to connect
A one-touch setup instantly connects the AirTag with your iPhone or iPad. Enter a name for the AirTag, attach it to the item you want to track, and you're done.
High autonomy
AirTag is designed to continue working for more than a year with a standard battery that you can easily replace. And your iPhone will notify you when it's time to insert a new battery.
Waterproof
Let's say you found your keys and accidentally dropped them in a puddle... Hey, that's okay. Your AirTag is splash, water and dust resistant and has been tested under controlled laboratory conditions with an IP67 rating according to IEC 60529 (maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes).
